I used to get so hung up on making beautiful art in my sketchbook, spending hours on a spread that no one would see. Now I use it as a safe space for imperfection and experimenting with new things.
Sometimes when working in a creative industry it’s hard to keep up with expectations and you get caught up in making beautiful work instead of enjoying the process of making art.
I might not be proud of every page in my sketchbook but I think it’s important to share.
