I’m Kassandra (or Kass), an interdisciplinary artist based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
I make art for playful people. ☺ Bright colours, fun themes & lot’s of coffee fueled doodles.
Inspired by Colour & Texture my work often explores the act of play. Working between creating printed goodies for my mail club, painting murals, designing merch and illustrating in my sketchbook I create in many forms.
Alongside my creative practice, I have been actively connecting Halifax through creative meet-ups and events. Encouraging support and relationships between creatives in every stage & industry.
My art was once described at "the kind of thing you would find in a fun cereal box" and that is the best complement I have ever received.
A vital part of my practice is documenting the process, I think it’s important to create that connection between artist and community, allowing viewers to be part of the work in every stage… It’s also just fun :)
